The Bridge over The River Kwai
Elephant Camp
See History of World War II

Kanchanaburi Province
, visit The JEATH War Museum: The name JEATH is derived from
Japan, England, America, Australia, Thailand and Holland. It is a model reconstruction of prisoners, thatched detention huts.  Displayed photos and illustrations of the atrocities against the prisoners fill in the unfulfilled parts of the dreadful tale

War
Cemetery
:A gruesome reminder of the World War II, this cemetery contains the remains of 6,982 war prisoners who lost their lives during the war.

The Bridge over the River Kwai
: The iron monument to the cruelty of war, the Bridge was part of the Death Railway (JEATH Railway) and rebuilt after the war

Take a ride through history on the Death Railway
(JEATH Railway): Passing lush forest scenery. Railway enthusiasts may travel along one of
Southeast Asia's most historical tracks, namely the surviving stretch of the Death Railway. The winding track crosses the world-famous bridge and provides a clear indication of how difficult constructing the original track (long since repaired and restored) must have been. One particularly exhilarating stretch sees the line parallel the curving Kwai Noi on a wooden viaduct towering above the river and hugging a steep, cave-ridden cliff

Mae Klong Railway Market
Amphawa Floating Market
See Local Lifestyle & Nature

Samut Songkram Province,
one of Thailand’s small provinces, but it offers a wealth of natural and cultural heritage. Within a compact area, you can experience ancestral arts, pilgrimage temples, place of royalty, floating markets, bountiful nature and communities that preserve their rural way of life. Many Thai Visitors come here just to eat the fresh shellfish, crabs, shrimp, squid and fish, especially its emblematic pla too — mackerel sold paired in bamboo baskets.

There is a unique Mae Klong Railway Market that is held every day literally on the rail tracks. Just before the train arrives in the town, the market stallholders have to pull back their awnings and remove their produce from the tracks. They then have to repeat all of this when the train returns. Fortunately it is not a busy track. The train leaves four times and it arrives four times.

On the way, experience countryside and look for the windmills,
this has long been a salt- producing area, and wind sails still revolve quietly above the flats. Traditionally, ocean water was drawn into the drying pans with wind power, using windmills made with bamboo frame and canvas vanes.

Amphawa Evening Floating Market
, this one doesn’t start to get going until the late afternoon. Very good news for late risers and It is also more authentic as you won’t find the rows and rows of stalls selling the same tacky souvenirs. This is where the Thai tourists come to experience a floating market.

Enjoy a Private Long-Tail Boat ride to see the fireflies
flash over the trees on the bank of the peaceful river.
